Indian Embassy Sets Up Control Room For Earthquake Affected in Japan
A 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck north central Japan on Monday
The Indian Embassy in Tokyo has set up an emergency control room for those affected due to the earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan on January 1, 2024.
It also released emergency numbers and email IDs that can be contacted for assistance.
A 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck north central Japan on Monday. The earthquake affected Noto in Ishigawa the worst which also resulted in five-foot tsunami waves.
Significantly, bullet train services were suspended, and communication services and power supplies were disrupted in all the affected areas.
