Amid the divorce speculations, former US President Barack Obama shared a heartwarming post for his wife, Former First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, on social media.
On her 61st birthday, Obama took to X and shared a picture of them holding hands on Friday. In the picture, the two of them were sitting across the table while holding hands.
In the caption, Obama wrote, "Happy birthday to the love of my life, @MichelleObama. You fill every room with warmth, wisdom, humor, and grace – and you look good doing it. I’m so lucky to be able to take on life's adventures with you. Love you!"
Under the post, Michelle Obama replied by saying "Love You, Honey!" with a heart and kiss emoji.
The post came amid rumours about their divorce on social media.
The reports of Michelle skipping the inauguration of the US President-elect Donald Trump on January 20.
"Former President Barack Obama is confirmed to attend the 60th Inaugural Ceremonies. Former First Lady Michelle Obama will not attend the upcoming inauguration," her office said on Tuesday.
Michelle also didn't accompany Obama to the funeral of Jimmy Carter, former US President on January 9.
Michelle and Obama met each other at a law firm Sidley Austin LLP, in 1989. They fell in love and got married in 1992. They also have two daughters Malia, 26, and Sasha, 23.
