Former US president and Republican Party nominee Donald Trump's son Eric Son had made quite a stir with his controversial statements in a recent interview.
Stating that there will be no better ally than Donald Trump to the United Kingdom, Eric said "We'll happily send Prince Harry and Meghan Markle back to the UK."
"You can happily have those two back. But I'm not sure you guys want them back any more than we might not want them. They feel like they're on a little bit of island of their own," he told GB News.
Eric Trump also backed the Royal Family and termed it a 'sacred institution,' while recalling his mothers association with Princess Diana and others. "You can always have bad actors in anything, you can always have spoiled apples in every orchard, but the institution of the Royal Family is beautiful and it's something that is actually admired by a lot of Americans," he added.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump too earlier openly criticised the couple after they stepped down from their Royal duties. He even said that Meghan was 'very disrespectful' to the Royal family and Queen Elizabeth 2.
