I am a 25-year-old bachelor. There is a swelling on my right testicle and at times I feel pain and a burning sensation there. It is not varicose. What could it be and can it affect my future family life? Please clear my doubts.
There are various causes for testicular swelling. Tumours, varicocele, epididymal cysts, infection (orchitis) hematoma (blood collection in tissues) due to injury and inguino scrotal hernia are some of them. Rarely, testicular torsion may be the cause and in this condition, pain will be severe. Without a proper examination, it will be difficult to determine the cause. Consult an urologist in person.

I am a 26-year-old woman and got married last month. Within a week of marriage, I noticed some pimples and blisters around my vagina. Then I found blisters on my husband’s penis as well. What disease is this?
In all probability, the blisters (pimples, as mentioned by you) may not be due to a disease. It could occur may be due to excessive friction to the genital skin during sexual intercourse. This happens when vaginal penetration is attempted/achieved before there is adequate lubrication in the vagina. For whatever it is worth, get yourself examined by a doctor. Till the blisters disappear, do not have sexual intercourse. Later on use an artificial lubricant like K-Y jelly if necessary.
