December 'Biryani' for Karthi

It’s almost two years since actor Karthi has had a Telugu or Tamil hit. The actor will next be seen in an upcoming film titled 'Biryani', with Hansika Motwani as the female lead. The film is being directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Jnanavel Raja. “It’s an action-comedy-thriller. For Karthi, too, it’s completely different from his earlier films, and he’s done a good job with the comic scenes,” says the producer. Hansika is paired with Karthi for the first time while British model and Punjabi film actress Mandy Takhar plays the second lead. The film’s music will be released on December 6 as it mark’s Yuvan Shankar Raja’s 100th film as composer.
