Sachin Tedulkar's fans have a reason to smile now. They can relive their Master Blaster's life and talent once again. Confused? It is simple - A group of actors in the city are enacting special 'Sachin moments' that his fans remember this Sunday.

The Yours Truly theatre group, that is a big fan of the cricketer, says that this act is to honour the sentiments and the emotions of Sachin's die-hard fans. “Over the years, Sachin has given us so many memories. For instance, there have been times in my life when watching him play has brought a smile to my tear stained face. My granny is a huge fan. The moment she would hear his name she would wake up from her slumber and be eager to join the conversation," say Nandini Rao, who conceived the idea. Vipin Chaudhary, a 26-year-old banker has set alarms to watch Sachin matches. He says, “The India Vs Pakistan matches were a treat to watch. One of my favourite Sachin shots is when he played the uppercut and went straight for a six on Shoaib Akhtar's ball. That was one hell of a game." He further adds that he himself has drawn so much inspiration to go on, despite an unfortunate event. “The man played was playing the World Cup in England when his father passed away. His loyalty and dedication to his game has taught me an important lesson in life. I try to imbibe his qualities as much as possible," he further adds.

Prafula B, a homemaker says that she can't wait to have her favourite 'Sachin moment' enacted on stage. “After 24 years and 664 international matches, Sachin was carried on his teammates' shoulders after India defeated Sri Lanka in World Cup. The happiness and the joy in his eyes were heartwarming. Even now when I see the moment, my eyes well up. I cannot believe that he won't play any more," she states. Seems like the cricketing genius has left quite an emotional impact on his fans.

Nandini explains that the play has no rehearsal and will be performed impromptu based on audience experiences. Vishal Bhardwaj, one of the actors says that his favourite Sachin moment was the final speech that the man gave. “The fact that he could remember everyone who inspired him to become an inspiration himself is commendable," he expresses. Sumit Acharya, another actor further adds, “So many Indians have so much to share about the little master and we hope to provide a platform to all Sachin fans to celebrate this special moment."

The play is being held at ADA Rangamandira, JC Road.
