She maybe the daughter of one of the most famous actors of the industry, Shakti Kapoor, but Shraddha Kapoor seems to be a “small town girl” at heart. After a huge hit in the form of 'Aashiqui 2', the actress is not only a sought after name in Mumbai, she seems to have impressed her fans across small towns too.

“As a rising star, Shraddha realises that reaching out to all corners of the country is vital. Moreover, her simple girl-next-door act in films is helping her as well. When something like 'Aashiqui 2' works for you, it only makes sense to take that forward. Her simple image worked in 'Gori Tere Pyar Mein' as well,” says a source. These days, Shraddha is getting the maximum number of invitations to make public appearances in tier-two towns and cities.

The actress will be continuing her “simple” avatar in 'Haider' and 'The Villain' as well. But one wonders how Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is known for his lavish cinematic treatment, portrays her in 'Gabbar'.

For now the “small town girl” rules.
