Hottie contours, folks
Fitness instructors have a major fan following at local gyms.
It's that time of the year when every one's sweating it out to get their body in ship shape.
As youngsters in the city go all out to tighten tone and lift their butt to get sexy glutes, there's an increase in trend for hot looking fitness instructors. Those with well sculpted hot bods are drawing in huge numbers of fitness enthusiasts enrolling in for classes.
We find out from fitness trainers and health clubs on this rising trend.
Milin Mathew, co-founder of Trio-Fit says, “It's a normal psychology for any human being to be attracted to someone good looking. It's even more evident in the field of fitness, as the trainers have to put their best foot forward and work out to their full potential. Also, a pleasant face, a fit body and apt sports wear add to the adrenaline rush, making the workouts more fun."
Agrees, model Abrar, who spends hours at a gym. He feels, “It's a scientifically proven fact that when you're looking at something that is near perfection, you desire to be like one. A lot of my friends are signing up for classes where they have hot fitness trainers from abroad. Some have even become good friends with their trainers."
Adds Elixir Nahar, another model, “An attractive trainer is definitely an added bonus. Whenever I have a good looking trainer, I always look forward to working out just a little bit more."
Fashion designer and stylist, Reshma Kunhi gives a thumbs up to a hot fitness trainer. She says, “I think if the guy is hot and training a girl, the girl is sure to put in extra effort and more exercise hours, which is eventually good for both the trainer and the student. If the trainer is a girl with hot contours, then needless to say there will be lots of boys signing up, as I have seen lately.“
Sonali Swami, who trains at Zela and Fitness First, assures, “Being fit and good looking gives you an edge over others as everyone wants to see if the looks match the skills as well. One has to live by example and the large numbers that turn out at the class is proof enough."
But Namrata Sudhindra, a yoga teacher begs to differ. She says, “It boils down to sound knowledge, experience and being able to relate and connect with your students, everything else is just incidental. If that's what brings them in so be it, but at the end of the day it's about practice, dedication, depth of knowledge and being able to connect with your student."
