Sanjjanaa will be performing at a bash in the city

From the looks of it, the ceremonious farewell of 2013 may just be a rather star studded one. While the Khans and Kapoors are out holidaying and ringing in the New Year in exotic locales, a little birdie told us that there are others we can feast our eyes on. For instance the hunky John Abraham, Poonam Pandey, the hot Australian model-turned-DJ Emily Scott, DJ Matt Darey, Reggae Rajas and the playboy bunny Sarah Robertson!

Rumour has it that John Abraham is coming to town on a special invite from DJ Ivan for the All Star party at JW Marriott in Whitefield. Apart from him, there are other RJs, DJs and actors you might spot at some of the bashes. Even a few sports-persons like golfers Sharmila Nicollet and probably Shiv Kapur may also hit the party and groove to Ivan’s wicked tracks. Watch out for the super hot model Emily and playboy bunny, Sarah who are coming to set the city on fire with their tracks. While some of the organisers have called in the pretty ladies, others have roped in live bands and musicians.  Namma hudugi Sanjjanaa will also be shaking a leg to a few Kannada and Bollywood medleys at the Country Club. “I am looking forward to partying with 4.5 lakh people,” she says. Incidentally, the actress is being paid a whopping Rs 44 lakh for her performance, costumes, make-up, hair and has 12 bodyguards. When asked, she shuns the topic, “I don’t wish to comment on that.” However, she was willing to give us a little juice about her NY’s eve performance. “It is going to be massive. We have imported some very very expensive props and my costumes will be on the lines of Lady Gaga,” she adds.

Incidentally, the biggest Bollywood star pullers have been cities like Delhi, Ahmedabad and Kolkata as Bengalureans aren’t very star struck. This is when actress Poonam Pandey insists, “I am coming to Bengaluru to perform because my fans want me here.” The starlet will most probably be performing at a star hotel to her item song from the Sandalwood flick Love is Poison. Meanwhile, party organiser Rafi Pasha explains that the biggest problem with hosting a celeb performance is the riff raff crowd that seeps in.
