Atharva dons reporter’s role

It was earlier reported in DC that Atharva would be sporting the role of a hurdler in his next flick, 'Eeti', directed by Ravi Arasu, in which Sri Divya pairs opposite him. Now, in his next flick, 'Kanithan', which is produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu and directed by Santhosh, Atharva will play the role of a reporter, and the film is said to be a thriller. “I am happy about how the film, Kanithan, has shaped up. Almost 60 per cent of the shoot is completed. I play the role of a reporter and this film is about a person who runs in search of his own identity. It’s definitely going to be different from other flicks,” says Atharva, who is currently shooting in the city law college for an interesting sequence in the film. Catherine Teresa pairs opposite him in this flick. When asked about her role, Atharva says, “She is also playing the role of a reporter in the film.” Interestingly, the music of the film is composed by Sivamani.

Atharva’s Irumbu Kuthirai, which is almost completed, will also be released very soon. The film, directed by Yuvaraj Bose and starring Priya Anand in the female lead, has him playing the role of a bike racer. The year 2014 seems to be a busy one for this actor.
