Hyderabad: Fitness is an essential part of my lifestyle. My fitness mantra is quite simple. It is all about eating right and working out. I think, being fit is about 70 per cent of following the right diet and 30 per cent of exercising. And I also stay away from alcohol and smoking. Life is so stressful these days. So, every time I feel exhausted, I just go to the gym.

I work out daily and try and focus only on one body part each day. For instance, if I am working on my abs today, tomorrow, it could be my arms. Needless to say, that working in a daily TV serial is a hectic affair and doesn’t allow me much free time for fitness.

I also opt for those occasional cheat days, which are important to strike a perfect balance post a strict diet regime. But, I’m not really a foodie. So that’s a great saviour!

I enjoy chocolate cakes now and then. But that’s once a month or so. To me, fitness is mostly about sporting the right kind of attitude. So despite tackling a difficult time-table, it’s fairly possible to squeeze out some hours to keep fit, if one is really determined for it.
