Olive oil

Mix a few drops of honey in olive oil and then massage it well into your hair. Keep it for half-an-hour before rinsing it off with a mild shampoo. You can also take curd and mix an egg yolk in it and apply it on your locks. This is good for silky smooth hair and it also conditions it well. Using shikakai adds the shine and gorgeous  lustre to your locks.

Curd to the rescue

If dandruff is what is troubling you, then soak methi seeds overnight in water and then grind to form a paste. Apply this on your scalp and leave it for a few hours. Wash with either shikakai or shampoo. Another good remedy is mixing curd with white pepper and applying the mix on your scalp. Curd has anti-fungal properties which help banish dandruff and other hair problems.
