Sudeep to step in Pavan Kalyan's shoes

Bengaluru: Sudeep is an actor who loves experimenting and fans always appreciate his efforts. This time, the Maanikya star will be acting in the remake of 'Attarintiki Daredi' directed by Trivikram Srinivas and starring Pavan Kalyan and Samantha in lead roles. Sudeep is not only acting in the film, but will also be directing it.

The film will be produced by Chandrashekhar of Nimishamba Films. Chandrashekhar has been waiting to produce Sudeep's film for the last three years. First it was announced that Tamil director Perarasu will be directing the film. Later, it was announced that Nandakishore of 'Victory' will be directing the film. Now Chandrashekhar himself has confirmed that he has acquired the remake rights of 'Attarintiki Daredi' and Sudeep will be directing the film besides acting in it.

Harikrishna has been selected as the music composer of the film and this is the first time that Harikrishna is composing the music under Sudeep's direction.

The film is likely to be launched in the month of June.
