Mumbai: A well-contoured and sculpted face is the new trend that has taken the beauty industry by storm. In fact, it is popularly also known as the “Kim Kardashian” look, with the perfectly chiselled features. Achieving this look is quite simple if you really look into it, you too can master the art of this kind of contouring.
How to achieve this look:
Highlighting: Apply a foundation or concealer which is at least two to three shades lighter than your skin tone, under the eyes and over the cheekbones (this lifts them up and makes your eyes pop). Also, apply it down your nose line, to make it look slimmer. Using it on your forehead at the centre and on the chin will add length to your face.
Contouring: Use a foundation which is a shade lighter than your tone on the sides of the nose where you applied the highlight. Apply it right under your cheekbones to create the hollow effect. And if you have a round face apply it along your jaw line as well. This will create an illusion of a prefect jaw line.
Blending: Using a sponge or a stippling brush slowly blend all the lines into each other. Powder it with a setting powder and you will have a perfectly shaped face with amazing features. If you have too many blemishes, you might want to start with a foundation in the beginning. For a more sculpted look, use a powder highlighter with a little shimmer on the areas where you first highlighted and use a bronzer where you contoured earlier.
