Micromax launches multi-lingual phone

Mumbai: Micromax  has gone desi with a vengeance, launching a phone which comes pre loaded with support for English -- and 20 Indian languages:  Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, Marathi, Nepali, Bodo, Dogri, Konkani, Kashmiri, Maithili, Manipuri, Sanskrit, Sindhi.
 
The Micromax Unite 2 is no slouch in other departments either. Powered by a 1.3GHz quad core processor,  it is the first phone from the company  fueled by Android KitKat 4.4.2 and comes with a 4.7-inch IPS display, a 5.0MP rear camera with flash, and a  2.0MP front facing camera -- an ideal combo for these  'selfie' days.  With 32 GB of  memory and GPS thrown in, it also features among other apps, the Indian messaging service, Hike.
