Hyderabad: John Abraham’s next home production, 'Rocky Handsome', is the official remake of South Korea’s 2010 hit, The Man from Nowhere.

John’s PR confirms, “John is busy shooting. The shoot will go on for 40 to 50 days at a stretch at Hyderabad’s Ramoji Studio. After that they will shoot for 10-15 days in Goa. That will be followed by a 20 day shoot in Mumbai. Nathalia Kaur is currently shooting with them. In the film there will be four villains, but the names of the actors shortlisted for the same have not been revealed.”

The original film is an action-thriller which follows the journey of a lone crusader, played by Won Bin, who goes on a murderous rampage against the drug mafia when the only person he cares for, a seven-year-old girl, is taken from him along with her mother.

John will be sporting three looks in the film which is inspired by Won Bin’s character. The identity of the actress playing the role of a seven-year-old is kept under wraps, but according to the sources she has joined John, Shruti Haasan and Nathalia Kaur in Hyderabad.

“Nathalia is playing the girl’s mother, a club dancer, and we’re going to be shooting a song with her. Another club number will be picturised on a known actress at a later date. Shruti (Hassan) has been cast opposite John as his wife in the film,” says the PR.
