Hyderabad: Director Rajamouli routinely keeps his fans updated on the progress of the making of the epic Rs 100-crore film, Baahubali. And his latest upload, showing the lead actors working out, has gone viral.

The video, which shows Rana, Prabhas and Anushka working out and doing push-ups with Nassar and Sathyaraju, has gone viral with over 1,000 shares on Facebook alone. Anushka, especially, has caught everyone’s attention.

The actress has time and again proven to be tough cookie. She has already lost a ton of weight and is on a strict protein-rich diet.
Her personal trainer, Kiran Dembla, says, “It’s not surprising that Anushka was on par with the boys. She has been on strength training for a year now, which involves lot of push-ups, ankle workouts etc.”

The three lead actors will be playing warriors and the director wants them to fit into their roles, thus the grueling regime.

Prabhas apparently spends three hours a day working out, including cardio and weight training. He is also on a zero carb diet. Rana, meanwhile,  spends an hour working out, half hour in the morning for cardio and half hour in the evening, lifting weights. And the results of all the hard work had started to show on both months ago. All three have also been trained in horse riding and sword fighting.

In a note accompanying the video, Rajamouli jokingly adds, “Nassar garu and Sathyaraj garu give heavy competition to Prabhas, Rana and Anushka.”

Throwing some light on the video, in a lighter vein, Nassar says, “I am the winner of the competition. I have done more than the other actors. Everybody is trying for six packs to eight packs, but I am trying from eight pack to a single pack,” he says.

He adds that all the actors have their own fitness regimes, which keep them fit even with the busy shooting schedules. The first part of Baahubali is slated to hit the screens in 2015.
