Bollywood meets politics: Aamir Khan discusses poverty, social development with Narendra Modi
The actor had a DVD set of his TV show 'Satyamev Jayate' while he spoke to the PM
Mumbai: Bollywood and politics get cosy. Bollywood actor Aamir Khan met the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi at the latter’s office on June 23. The Prime Minister's Office said the meeting at South Block was a courtesy call.
The actor carried a box-set DVD of his TV show 'Satyamev Jayate' when he spoke to Narendra Modi.
"Modi Saheb has talked of benefiting people, especially the poor and bringing happiness to their lives. We should be cooperative with him so that he achieves his goal. People and I have great expectation from Modi Saheb," he had saod in Bhopal on June 16.
Narendra Modi took to Twitter to share pictures of the meeting online.

The actor also shared his experience and a few details about the meeting.
