The Richie Rich of the world
These are priceless images where super wealthy youngsters featured here are flaunting their decadent lifestyles
There are very few realities left on this Planet. The world’s round, cats are not to be trusted, politics will remain dirty and yes, the ones who have it, will flaunt it. Which is why Instagram’s much-savaged ‘Rich Kids section’ has become such a hit — because the shock after seeing a 17-year-old flush a bottle of champagne down the toilet, while yours doesn’t even flush… is just priceless.
They are truly the one percenters. They wake up to five-star breakfasts, move around in cars that cost more than your house and spend more on their hair than you on your face.
These are the rich kids of Instagram, who are taking humanity by their wallets. Let’s check out a few:
THE HATED INDIAN KID
Param Sharma, 18, is now famous as ‘Instagram’s biggest jerk’. The teen lives out of San Francisco and claims to be originally from New Delhi. His profile and direct messages to followers have been so offensive that some have even doubted his account’s legitimacy. For example, he insists on calling his over three lakh followers, “serfs, peasants or b*****s”.
Sharma is also up to all kinds of antics. There’s sleeping with thousands of dollars in cash, flushing sparkling water down toilets and his weekly ‘cleaning out’ of Apple stores — he often walks away with at least 10 phones.
Sharma has even received death threats for his “conceited and lavish” lifestyle. But his most notorious post so far has been the one in which he ties $4,000 to a balloon, only to let the cash float away. He then hashtagged the image under the handle #f**kdonations! Later, he even arranged a $20,000 giveaway to the first user who would respond to the post.
Sharma also brags about his frequent limo rides while the “rest of the world just watches”. The teen’s popularity even attracted investigations by different social media companies who wanted to establish if such a “douchebag” could actually exist. So far however, they have not been able to trace the kid down and the account remains attached to that “Indian kid who loves to insult, taunt and tease”.
From China, 22-year-old Zhang Jiale
Jiale is a massive hit on the Chinese version of twitter - Weibo.com. Her photos of parties, flights aboard private jets and afternoons on yachts have sparked both debate and outrage. Zhang is the daughter of insurance and electronics businessman Zhang Jun and is part of China’s uber-rich, show-offy second generation, who now make up some of the world’s biggest spenders on luxury brands and real estate. It is estimated that this part of China’s, otherwise very ordinary population, will increase by 24 per cent in the next five years!
From the Middle East, Mr Panzol
Not much is known about this guy from one of the many princely states of oil-rich West Asia. But his Instagram account include photos of some of the most expensive cars on the planet, at shirt that says ‘cool kids get rich’, two private jets, wads of cash and what looks like a personal ATM machine. Mr Panzol is also widely travelled, with photos from almost every iconic landmark from around the globe.
George, Britain
Bottles and bottles of Dom Perignom, the hottest super cars and over a dozen watches. That’s George for you who really believes in this quote — We are only alive for a short time, why not enjoy it? Absloutely! There’s even a photo with a dummy AK-47 (we hope) and one of a 1994 Lamborghini Diablo SE30 Jota — one of only three in the world.
Lord Aleem, UK
Driving around with custom number plates (IAM LORD), Aleem claims to be “not your average 19-year-old”. Well, he certainly isn’t. With a garage full of luxury cars, the teenager is constantly Instagramming photos of him just “driving about with mates” and meals at some of London’s most expensive restaurants. And he has over 2,000 followers! Users on the social network are also constantly asking the young man to even donate some cash for the well being of the other 99 per cent.
‘Entrepreneur’ Alex Pod, San Diego
Pod’s famous for that ‘$10K tip’ to his pilot and frequent helicopter rides. He also describes himself as a self-made entrepreneur (whatever that means), a life-enjoyer, and professional gambler. In fact, he even posts photos of his bets on tennis, American football and basketball and instructs his followers on the best possible ways to “make $40K before lunch”.
