16-year-old from Delhi wins Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 World Championship
Arjit beat 123 finalists to win the title
New Delhi: The 16-year-old from India, Arjit Kansal, has won the Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 World Championship.
The championship was organized in California USA this year, to test the skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. At the World Championship.
Arjit beat out 400,000 competitors worldwide, and 123 finalists to win the title.
The 13th Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship attracted more than 400,000 unique candidates from 130 countries who competed to demonstrate their mastery of Microsoft Office products.
Certiport, the leading provider of certification exam development, recognized Arjit and other winners at the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship Student Awards Ceremony at Disney’s Grand Californian Resort and presented each with a $5,000 scholarship.
In the concluding round, competitors participated in unique project-based tests to demonstrate their ability to create presentations for the information presented in PowerPoint.
Certiport will host the 2015 Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship in Dallas, Texas and Arijit hopes to win the title next year as well.
