Senthil, popularly known as ‘Mirchi Senthil’, the RJ turned telly actor who debuted with a Cheran film, is yet to hit the right note. The actor, who has completed half a dozen films, is pinning all his hopes on his upcoming flick, Romba Nallavanda Nee, directed by veteran A. Venkatesh. Sources say that Senthil has an author-backed role in this comedy thriller, with Mollywood girl Shruti Bala co-star.

Explaining how he chose Senthil as his lead, Venkatesh says, “My lead guy is innocent, yet an intelligent person. I wanted someone like ace actor Bhagyaraj of the 1980s, who had a naïve face, yet everything he did was clever. Senthil was the right choice for me.” The director too dons a crucial role in RNN.
