‘Teachers told me my face isn’t perfect’

Actress Katie Holmes has revealed she received a lot of criticism regarding her face at modelling school.

The 35-year-old mother of one said instructors at her school dissected her face on the first day, reported Hello! magazine.

“They were trying to teach beauty. They took me as an example and they dissected my face. They said, ‘you see, not perfect. Her eyes too far apart, her nose, lips not perfect, but altogether she’s not bad’,” she said.

Holmes said she is excited about her role in the upcoming film The Giver.

“I’m really excited about where I am right now, this movie. I’ve had some really wonderful creative experiences. I am just excited about the future,” she said.
