‘Please be patient’

Hyderabad: Changes in release  dates of movies of big-budget movies and fans awaiting  the release of their favourite actors’ film is common in Tollywood. Now, the new trend is that  of waiting for the debut of the star sons.

 

The  debut of Akhil Akkineni, son of Nagarjuna has been the talk  of the town for a few months now. The star son had also revealed that, he would confirm his debut film soon.  But Akhil’s debut seems to be kept under wraps  by the Akkineni family.

 

There was excitement amongst the fans of the Akkineni family that Akhil would debut soon. But as time passed, the excitement seemed to have reduced until recently, when Nagarjuna announced  that on September 20, which marks the birth anniversary of the late Akkineni Nageswara Rao, he would celebrate the 100 days of Manam and also announce Akhil’s debut project at Annapurna Studios. But disappointingly, the function ended without any news about the star son’s debut.

 

The announcement is said to have been delayed for a few more weeks for unknown reasons. At the function, Akhil said, “I am unable to give a proper answer to my fans regarding my debut film. My entry shouldn’t be an ordinary one. My film should be a blockbuster. That is what I am working on.” He added, “I will soon reveal all the details about my debut film in Vijayawada. Until then, my fans need to be patient.”
