HTC's two flagship cameras are finally here

HTC has finally unveiled its two flagship products of the year. Yes, it has launched the most awaited 16MP action camera and Desire Eye handset with a high-end 13MP camera at the 'Double Exposure' event. 

HTC new 'RE' 16MP camera is a small handheld tube-shaped gadget, which has a waterproof body. This smartly designed camera is packed with a in-built grip sensor that can activate the camera when one picks it up.

Its RE app works like a remote live viewfinder helps you watch the live action on the screen of your mobile device, switch to album, playback view to flick through the shots and videos stored on the camera. Reports also state that this camera is pre-loaded with new Android and iOS apps. HTC’s new camera model may prove to be a tough competitor with GoPro camera.

The ‘Double Exposure’ event also saw the HTC Desire Eye with 13MP cameras on both the rear and front. The company claims that the BSI sensors and dual-LED flash on the rear/front-facing camera of HTC Desire Eye can capture crisp photos in low-light conditions as well. With the new Zoe collaborative video-editing app, it’s easy to remix your photos and videos into stylish highlight reels, adding new themes and soundtracks that can be shared.

The 5.2-incher smartphone is powered by 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S801 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM and is fuelled with a 2,400mAh removable battery.
