'Beintehaa' gets their oldest fan

Mumbai: Here’s a sweet story we came across on the sets of 'Beintehaa'. An 80 year old fan of the show, who lives alone, visits the sets daily and spends all day with the cast and crew watching them shoot. The team has now got so attached to their elderly fan, that they spend their free time chatting with him and that they recently even inculcated him in a sequence.

Female lead of the show Preetika Rao, confirmed the story saying, “Yes, his name is Jaffer Khatri. We know him as Jaffer Uncle. He is on our sets everyday, just to watch us and speak to us and recently he was part of the scenes shot at the dargah. He gets fruits and sweets for me regularly. We are family to him now. Its touching to know that I have fans from 8 to 80 year olds. Just the other day I had an 8 year old who wanted to hug me and its cute how they call me Muslim Barbie doll.”
