Jerusalem: An Israeli border policeman was killed and at least nine other people wounded Wednesday when a Palestinian rammed his car into pedestrians in Jerusalem, hospital officials and police said.
       
Speaking to Israeli army radio, Professor Yaron Weiss said three people who were very badly injured had been taken to Hadassah hospital in Ein Kerem, where one died shortly afterwards.
       
"His death was determined a short while ago," Weiss told the radio.
       
Police spokeswoman Luba Samri said the dead man was a border police officer.
