JP Chowksey becomes President of the Film Federation of India

Chowksey was elected after a unanimous decision

Mumbai: The Film Federation of India (FFI) has elected a new President. According to reports JP Chowksey has been elected as President and will serve his term from January 1 to the end of this year.

Chowksey was unanimously elected by representatives of various trade bodies.

The FFI is an apex body of the Indian film producers, distributors, exhibitors and studio owners, headquartered in Mumbai. The federation even selects India’s oddicial entry for The Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film every year.
