The 'love jihad' campaign which was launched by Durga Vahini primarily seeks to re-convert Hindu women who married Muslim men and changed their religion.

A source was quoted saying, “With the ongoing love jihad debate, Kareena is concerned about her safety. Unlike a few other stars, she never felt the need to be escorted or chaperoned, until now.”

Previously in 2012, both Kareena and her husband Saif Ali Khan received death threats before their wedding in October.

Although there was no serious threat, the actress is just taking safety measures before things get out of hand.
