Deepika Padukone to lend her vocals for a track in 'Tamasha'?
The actress recently visited A R Rahman's studio with director Imtiaz Ali
Mumbai: If rumours are to be believed, then Deepika Padukone might just join the actors-turned-singer club. According to a report in Absolute India, the actress is most likely to croon a number with maestro A R Rahman for Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Tamasha.
A source was quoted as saying, “Rahman is one of those music composers who usually gets very involved with the project beyond the music and gets along well with actors. Imtiaz and he go a long way back as the two have worked previously as well. They share a great comfort lever so when Tamasha was being planned, it was obvious that Rahman would score the music.”
“However, what was surprising was that Imtiaz turned up with Deepika for one of their musical sessions; it was surprising to see the actress accompany him for the meeting. Rahman even posted a picture of the trio on his social networking page.”
However rumour has it that the ‘Tamasha’ actress is considering the idea of lending her vocals to one of the tracks of the film, which was her reason for visiting Rahman in his studio.
Rahman previously worked with Alia Bhatt when he scored the music for Imtiaz’s film ‘Highway’ and had her singing the song ‘Sooha Saaha.’
