Motorola announces Android 5.1 Lollipop update for Moto X handsets

Motorola has finally announced the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop update for the first generation Moto X handsets.Till date, the Moto X (1^st Gen) smartphones were running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system.

On receiving the latest upgrade, users of Moto X (1^st Gen) will feature new Material Design animations, Lock Screen notifications and Smart Lock. Its Smart Lock feature keeps your handset unlocked, even when it is paired with a smartwatch. A new flashlight feature has also been added to its Quick Settings menu. One can also set multiple user accounts on Moto X (1^st Gen) handsets. The guest mode is enabled by default. You can even restrict unwanted calls/ SMS/ MMS  via the Settings menu.
