Acer unveils triple-SIM Liquid X2 that offers two-day battery life

The newly unveiled phablet features a 13MP camera

Acer unveiled a new phablet - Acer Liquid X2, which offers a tri-SIM support and promises a two-day battery life. The Acer Liquid X2 was announced at a media conference in New York. 

The triple-SIM phablet features a 5.5-inch QHD display. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core processor and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. On the camera front, Acer Liquid X2 sports a 13MP rear and front-facing camera with f/1.8 sensor.

As mentioned earlier, Acer Liquid X2 is fuelled with a large 4000mAh battery that offers a two-day battery life. Media reports also state that Acer plans to offer Quick Flip covers, which has a narrow window for notification display. Acer Liquid X2 will be available in four colours - white, red, blue and brown.

Acer hasn’t revealed the price of the phablet yet. However, latest reports state that the phablet will first be available in Asia this August.
