Apple Watch prone to scratches?
Apple Watch is picking up scratches within few hours or days of usage
Apple launched the Apple Watch worldwide on April 25, 2015. The company claimed that it has used the 316L stainless steel for the Apple Watch.
Unfortunately, the stainless steel doesn’t prove to be a right choice. Users of Apple watch noticed that the stainless steel around the casing of Apple Watch isn’t scratch resistant. Instead, the Apple Watch is picking up scratches within few hours or days of usage.

Luckily, the aluminum Apple Watch Sport hasn’t faced any type of scratch issues. Media reports state that the 316L stainless steel used in the Apple Watch is actually softer than the 7000 series aluminum used in Apple Watch Sport.
