Lenovo has added another smartphone to its 'A' series, the Lenovo A5000, which promises to deliver a longer battery life on the go. 

Lenovo A5000 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, with splash-proof nano coating. The dual-SIM smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad core processor and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

The 5-incher Lenovo A5000 smartphone offers 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage. However, one can also expand the in-built memory up to 32GB using a microSD card. On the camera front, Lenovo A5000 sports a 8MP auto focus primary shooter and 2MP front-facing camera as well. 

Additional apps:

  • SHAREit lets you share files wirelessly without network charges or a WiFi connection
  • CLONEit allows you to instantly transfer all your old data to your new Lenovo phone

Lenovo A5000 smartphone is also equipped with sensors like accelerometer, ambient light and proximity. The Lenovo A5000 supports 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS and Bluetooth. As mentioned above, its 4000mAh battery is expected to deliver up to 17 hours of talk time and up to 792 hours of standby time on 3G. 

The MRP of Lenovo A5000 is Rs 9,999 for the Indian market. It will be available in two colours – Black and White.
