The introduction of video calling feature on Facebook Messenger may tempt Facebook users to download the app. However, it seems like the server of Facebook Messenger has been hacked.

A malware video could land up in your inbox, that carries a tag –‘your name private video’. On receiving this video via Facebook Messenger, the recipient may feel happy, thinking that his/her friend has prepared a special video for him/her. But don’t get fooled! It’s a malware that’s trying to enter your device.

This isn’t a YouTube video but it comes from a completely different source ‘http://bb.je/j4SpPNHdseogpDaVgecS’. Your anti-virus software will in fact send an alert regarding this malware and show you a red signal.

As reported earlier, a porn-based malware on Facebook had also affected over 1,10,000 accounts. The spam video on Facebook users’ wall infected their computers with a Trojan. The malware porn link is being posted on infected users' Facebook page and it tags at least 20 friends of the user.
