WhatsApp all set to launch video calling this month

It has already rolled out a trial version of the video calling feature for its employees

Facebook Messenger, Hike, WhatsApp and Jio seem to be tough competitors this year. With the introduction of video calling feature on Facebook Messenger and Jio, WhatsApp may hurry up with the launch of the video calling feature.

As reported earlier, WhatsApp already rolled out a trial version of the video-calling feature only for WhatsApp employees. It may also allow you to convert your audio-calls into a video chat, just like the Jio app.The new version will allow you to mute your calls or keep your calls on hold.

Media researchers have predicted that the video calling feature will appear on WhatsApp in May. The launch will follow the same pattern as WhatsApp voice calling. The Android users will be the first lucky ones to receive the video calling update in May.
