Massive traffic jam forms on Chinese moutain road cliff

Motorists in southern China were stuck in a traffic jam with a breath-taking view at the end of the May Day weekend holiday, according to reports. The May Day holiday weekend saw hundreds of people navigate the road, which was carved out of cliffs in the 1970s and leads to what has been dubbed 'China's most dangerous village'.
Tailbacks stretched for several kilometres after delays were caused by maintenance work at a tunnel on a highway linking Kunming and Foshan in Guangdong province, the news website The congestion lasted for about two hours on Sunday while the maintenance work was carried out.
