London: A four inch tiny pug named Pip could be Britain's smallest dog.

Owner Joanne Astley, 54, said that her four-month-old pet pug, that is smaller than can of drink, was pure bred and never seemed to grow, the Daily Express has reported.

The Dudley, West Mids, resident said she was delighted when her two-year-old dog Ruby gave birth to four pups, but was surprised to find later that one of the puppies was half the size of the others.

The mom of four said that they loved their lil' pet, whom people tend to mistake for a toy, and just puts her in her purse when going out.
