Parvathy lands a period film
The actress will be seen playing a role she hasn’t done yet in her career
Parvathy Nair, who was seen in notable roles in Yennai Arindhaal and Uttama Villain earlier this year, has bagged a meaty role in Enkitta Mothathe, the shooting of which commenced recently in the city. The actress will be seen playing a role she hasn’t done yet in her career.
Parvathy says, “I’m excited that my role is different and exciting. Although I’m not supposed to reveal much about the character, I can say that I will be sporting ethnic, yet unique looking outfits for the role. The film is set in, say a few decades ago.”
The film, which has lensman-turned-actor Natraj Subramanian playing the lead role, has Sanchita Shetty playing the other female lead. Parvathy, who was almost confirmed to play the female lead in Mollywood film Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi, had to change her decision due to a scheduling clash with Enkitta Mothathe, and chose to go with the latter.
