Twenty-two-year old Manik Paul from Assam, the winner of India’s Got Talent 6, was positive about winning. “I’m feeling on top of this world. Reaching  the final six was a victory in itself and this is the icing on the cake!”

He began his journey by running errands. From an office boy to  house keeping he did it all, he says, “The journey in Mumbai has been tough, but while I was struggling to make ends meet, I never gave up on my practice.”

Having won Rs 50 lakh and a swanky hatchback, Manik says, “I have been living in a rented flat in Dadar since a long time now. I will buy a house and bring my mother to stay with me.”

Being a part of the show has widened Manik’s horizons and the title will further accentuate his progress. “Even while I was still in the final six, I was getting offers to perform. People were ready to pay as much as over a lakh, while earlier I would do shows for a mere five to six thousand. I have a lot of options now.”
