Actor Mohanlal

The big budget film Pulimurugan directed by Vysakh will have none other than Mohanlal in the title role. The film will have many biggies from the South industry and will see Mohanlal and Prabhu reuniting after their film Kalapani.

Reports suggest that a large part of the film will be shot in Hanoi in Vietnam with tigers that are essential to the script.

Sources indicate that the story is about a common man Murugan played by Mohanlal who lives in a village bordering a forest. It is also rumoured that there will be some scenes which will have Mohanlal sharing space with the big cats and that he would be sporting a very different look for the film, with a big moustache.

Renowned stunt choreographer Peter Hein will be handling the high voltage stunt sequences. This film will also mark the first independent scriptwriting venture of Udayakrishna of the Udayakrishna-Sibi team which has created magic on screen.
