Upendra to woo telugu audiences

Kannada star Upendra had done  a few Telugu films earlier and after a long gap acted in the recently released S/O Satyamurthy. Now, the actor wants to release his Kannada film Uppi 2 in Telugu as Upendra 2. This is a sequel to his earlier film Upendra. 

 

Producer Nallamalupu Srinivas, who entered  the film industry with Upendra in 1991, will also be producing  Upendra 2. Interestingly, apart from playing the lead actor, Upendra is also  the writer - director for this film. Parul Yadav and Kristina Akheeva are the female leads. “My film career started with Upendra  15 years back and after a long gap, I once again received the opportunity to work with him. The post-production work is going on and we are planning to release it soon,” says Srinivas.
