Andhra Pradesh and Telangana CMs may watch Srimanthudu
Mahesh is on cloud nine and feels that this is the best birthday gift ever
News is, Telangana State and Andhra Pradesh Chief Ministers — K. Chandrasekhar Rao and N. Chandrababu Naidu — may watch the Mahesh Babu starrer Srimanthudu soon.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched the rural development programme sometime ago, where he stressed on adopting villages and make them as modern as possible. The same message is there in the film and so both the CMs may watch it,” says the source.
Telangana’s Panchayati Raj and IT minister K Tarakarama Rao will watch the film at a special screening. “If he likes it then immediately his father and CM KCR will watch the film,” adds the source. AP CM Naidu may watch the film next week. The makers are also keen to arrange a special screening for Modi.
On the other hand, Mahesh is on cloud nine and feels that this is the best birthday gift ever. “The team of Srimanthudu team is planning a small party on Sunday evening at the actor’s residence on the occasion of his birthday and for the success of the film,” says a unit member. According to the producers, the film collected Rs 30 crore on the first day worldwide.
