Washington DC: Did you know that food could even cause headache? Researchers have revealed certain food items which could trigger headaches.

The researchers via study found that food items such as smoked or cured meats, aged cheeses, citrus fruits, sauerkraut, soy sauce, red wine and certain beers trigger a headache, the Fox News reported.

According to the researchers, these food items contain Tyramine, a naturally occurring amino acid that forms from the breakdown of protein in food as it gets old, which can cause our blood pressure to rise, resulting in headaches.
