I don't know who could play my grandfather: Aditya on Bal Thackeray biopic

Mumbai: The late Bal Thackeray’s life may soon come to life on screen. According to recent reports the late politician’s daughter-in-law Smita Thackeray has decided to make a biopic titled ‘Saheb’. The film will reportedly be directed by Smita’s son Rahul, who interestingly worked as an assistant director with Rajkumar Hirani on ‘PK’.

Speaking about the reports, the late Bal Thackeray’s grandson Aditya said, "I have just read about the news in the paper today. I don't know the entire thing, I don't even know if it's materializing or not."

When asked who should play the role of Bala Saheb Thakeray from Bollywood he said, "Whoever plays the role he has to play the role of my grandfather too. I don't know who could play my grandfather. It's a very serious issue, the biopic will also be a very important thing as there's emotions involved of a lot of people."
