Imran’s act II?
‘I want to make a film that no one will alter. I want to control how it turns out’
Imran Khan may not have got the best reviews for his performance in Katti Batti, but the actor has bigger plans in mind — including turning producer. “Yes I do want to produce films. I want to make a film that no one will alter. I want to control how it turns out. All the different kinds of experiences as an actor will surely come of use,” he tells us.
Ask him what experiences he’s hoping to bring into his future avatar as producer and Imran says, “Making a film isn’t as easy as people think, you are constantly fighting daylight to get your shots in time, shooting an intense scene where your girlfriend has left you and you are trying to make the audience believe you are distressed.
Right then some passerby from the crowd comes and starts singing Pappu Can’t Dance Saala right behind you! So I understand the hard work that goes into making a film and that should help understand my team as a producer too.”
