There have been many art camps in the city, but the one hosted on Thursday, ‘Art for Social Cause’, grabbed all the eyeballs. After all, how often does one get to see artists like Laxma Goud, Thota Vaikuntam, Ramesh Gorjala etc., come together for a live art show.

The live art camp by Mytrah, a renewable energy company, was hosted to raise funds for the education of girl children. “As part of our CSR activities we got eminent artists from the city to this camp. Once the works are complete the art will be on display in October and then they will be shifted to Gallery Space,” says Pavan Kumar Nerella.

Among the 19 artists almost everyone made it to the show. “I came to Hyderabad only for the art camp,” says Ramesh Gorjala who will be creating a Vishnu 4x3 artwork.

The artists will not charge anything for their artworks but they will receive an honourary amount for taking part in the art camp.
