A baby video online

Six-year-old Tiana’s parents are getting a divorce and from what one can gather from a recent video of her that went viral, they don’t get along. In the video, which was posted on Facebook by her mother, Tiana is seen telling her mother, “I don’t want you and my dad to be replaced and meanies again. I want you and my dad to be placed and settled and be friends.“ From one video of a toddler having a make believe conversation in gibberish on a cellphone to another of a baby who starts crying every time his mum shuts a story book, there are a number of adorable clippings doing the rounds of late.

Tapping into the weakness that everyone seems to have for babies, YouTube channels too are always overflowing with funny baby videos sure to melt your heart. Another of the latest slew of such videos, is two-year-old Mila’s reaction on learning that her favourite singer, Adam Levine is married. Recorded in her mom’s car, the clipping shows Mila screaming, ‘no mommy no’ and collapsing into a heap of tears. The hysterical child and her mother later made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she got to meet Levine for the very first time. At first quite hesitant, she later hugged the star, which was quite a heartwarming sight.

“While, I am not a fan of people posting pictures or videos of children online for security reasons, I can’t deny how stress relieving it is to watch these clippings in the middle of a busy work day,” shares Mahita Fernandez, who runs a kids’ activity centre in Bengaluru. Her personal favourite is a video of an infant who messes with her dad when he’s trying to clip her nails. “Even before the nail clipper touches her, she goes ‘ow’. It’s funny to see how this fully grown man is trolled by his little girl,“ she shares.

Celebrity babies too have their own following with the latest being Chris Brown’s daughter, Royalty, who made her presence felt at a recent basketball game. The toddler was seen dancing to a peppy number with her father joining in the fun. “These videos expose us to the talent and intelligence of young minds and that really opens your eyes to what you can expect from the next generation,” Fernandez concludes.
