Slow motion and egos

Who says he’s out and forgotten? Director Ram Gopal Varma was recently invited to talk to emerging and established actors in Tollywood and what he had to say left audience a bit stunned.

“Remove slow motion scenes from Telugu cinema and then look at the difference. The day we do away with slo mo scenes, the real heroes will emerge,” he is believed to have told the crowd, of at least 40 actors, which included Allu Arjun and others.

A source from the meet told DC: “Everyone was listening to the director in rapt attention and towards the end, he made a lot of sense. We all liked his speech.”

The source continued: “He spoke for nearly an hour and it was definitely an education for all actors present.”
