Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has decided not to use a stunt double for action sequences in 'Sultan'.
The 49-year-old actor will be seen stepping into the ring for the first time in this sports theme YRF Film. Coincidently, the actor's good friend Aamir Khan, is also currently working on his wrestling themed film that is also due for a 2016 release. At the event, Salman showed concern over Aamir's health. The 'PK' star, suffered a shoulder injury while working on his stint as a wrestler in 'Dangal', and has been advised bed rest for a week.
When asked what precautions he will take for 'Sultan' considering his friend's injury, Salman says, "Not serious na?"
"I will not use duplicate ...I will make sure I do it (action). I will train hard for it. I will have to get bigger and stronger and that is difficult. I am 88 (weight), I will have to reach 94 and then come down to 70 again. It will be all muscles," the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' star said.
The film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar will release next Eid.
Meanwhile, Salman expressed grief over the demise of veteran actor Saeed Jaffery with whom he worked in couple of films.
"He was a fantastic person and I have known him and his family for a long time. I think he died peacefully in his sleep... may his soul rest in peace," said Salman.
