It seems that director-producer Lingusamy is getting some respite with respect to his production venture, the Sivakarthikeyan starrer Rajini Murugan’s release. RM produced by Thirrupathi Brothers has been lying in the cans for several moths after its completion due to Lingusamy’s deep financial mess from his prior movies including the losses incurred by Uttama Villain. After several speculated dates for release which didn’t quite work out, Lingusamy seems to have sorted out the issues. Thanks to producers Madurai Anbu and Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green who came to Lingu’s rescue! Sources says that after watching Rajini Murugan at a special screening, both felt that film had the potential to be a commercial hit, and they have initiated the talks to settle debts for Lingusamy.
The source adds that all efforts are being made to bring the film to the theatres on December 4. Meanwhile, the buzz is that Studio Green has pushed their other Suriya-starrer Pasanga 2, which is a children’s movie, to December 24 to give space for Rajini Murugan.
